E-invoicing phase 2 (Integration)
In one sentenceThe second phase of e-invoicing, in which the business's system is connected to the FATOORA platform for clearance of tax invoices and reporting of simplified invoices.
Simply put
It is applied to businesses in waves set by ZATCA, which notifies each business of its date in advance.
The system needs a cryptographic stamp certificate for each invoicing unit, must issue the invoice in UBL 2.1 format, and must send it to the platform for clearance or reporting depending on its type.
Example
A pharmaceutical warehouse received a notice from ZATCA with its integration date, so it connected its system to the FATOORA platform: its invoices to pharmacy customers are cleared before delivery, and direct-sale invoices to individuals are reported within 24 hours.
Don't confuse it with
E-invoicing phase 1 (Generation)The first phase sends nothing to ZATCA; the second sends every invoice.
