Resignation

Simply put
When the employee writes “I wish to end my employment…”, it is a resignation, and the rules of the Saudi Labor Law and the contract apply to it, including the notice period.
For the accountant: the benefit on resignation may be less than the benefit when the business ends the contract, and it varies with years of service. Check the Saudi Labor Law and its regulations for the details, and choose “Employee resignation” in the end-of-service calculator.
Example
A saleswoman at a store resigned after years of work. The accountant calculated her benefit with the end-of-service calculator, choosing resignation as the reason, then added pay for her remaining leave to the settlement.
